A Complete Guide to Foraging, Trapping, Fishing, and Finding Sustenance in the Wild, by
This is a hardback that should last until you get the rhythm of sustaining life from the wild. I highly recommend this book.
A Complete Guide to Foraging, Trapping, Fishing, and Finding Sustenance in the Wild, by Bradford Angier (Author), Jon Young (Contributor). How to Eat in the Woods is a 4.7 star book. As Canadian mounty, he has lived a majority of his life in the wilderness. Although not native Indian, he certainly understands the wisdom of wilderness eating and living. If given a choice to eat fresh fish and stay near water for long term food, or to go away from the water source farther into the woods to go hunting for larger game, which would you choose? Bradford Angier will help you learn the wisdom of eating off Creation’s gifts. (The answer is go for the large game. A diet without fat will kill you!)
